Franklin County Memorial Hospital
The county owned hospital is a Certified Critical Access Hospital, the 13th in Nebraska.  Recognized for its quality of care, the hospital is also the first Designated Basic Trauma Center in the Nebraska Trauma System Region 3.  In 2008-2009, the hospital is excited to be constructing a new $4.1 million Outpatient Services Building to house physical therapy, occupational therapy, aqua therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, specialty clinics, a new laboratory and a CT scanner.  The hospital also relies on mobile diagnostic services to provide Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Scans, and Doppler studies.  The hospital has a 56 year history of providing quality medical care with personal and friendly service.

FCMH Pool Medical Clinic
Owned by the Franklin County Memorial Hospital, the clinic is a Certified Provider Based Rural Health Clinic.  For the past fourteen years, the clinic has grown its services and now provides three physicians, three nurse practitioners and a physician assistant for patient choice. Each practitioner has a specialty in family medicine. The hospital also operates satellite clinics in Campbell, Hildreth and Red Cloud.  With the new $4.1 million construction project, the clinic will offer a new waiting room and a ‘tele-health’ conference room.  Beyond the family practice services offered in the clinic, counseling is offered by a qualified psychologist, dietary consultation by a Medical Nutritionist and wound care by a Nursing Wound Specialist.

Golden Age Village - Retirement Community
The Golden Age Village low income retirement community offers large, spacious rooms with plenty of closets and storage space. Drapes, refrigerator and stove are furnished. Cable TV and telephone service are available. Each apartment has its own thermostat and emergency alarm. Maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal are provided. The Community Clubhouse has a large lounge with color TV and comfortable chairs for relaxing and chatting. Activities include community dinners, cards, parties, billiards, Bible study and gardening. The kitchen and dining facilities are available for private parties, free of charge for residents.

Golden Living Center - Assisted Living & Nursing Home
A 47 bed Skilled Nursing Facility offering 24 hour nursing care with an additional 19 assisted living units. Licensed and certified to offer coverage provided by Medicare, Medicaid, VA and private insurance, the Golden Living Center offers both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. The center is staffed by dedicated, highly skilled health care professionals. This excellent healthcare facility has served this area for over 45 years.
