FPS offer a comprehensive, well rounded Pre K - 12th
grade education. Special Ed, Title I and Gifted
programs supplement regular classes to accommodate and
challenge students of all levels, abilities and
interests. Important areas of education exploration
include agriculture, the sciences, business and
entrepreneurship.
Our student-teacher ratio is excellent, with a K-12
enrollment of approximately 320. Dual credit classes are
offered where high school students can earn college
credit at a fraction of the cost with 120 college
credits earned in 2007. A number of scholarships are
awarded every year by private, public and charitable
donors on an annual basis to deserving graduates.
FPS student assessments and school ratings for math,
reading and ACT profiles were consistently and
significantly above state and national averages and
exceeded peer comparisons as well. These results reflect
the excellence in FPS teaching
skills, training and qualifications and the emphasis and
insistence on teaching excellence at the administrative
and school board levels.
Franklin “Flyer” Pride is a living concept and
is earned every day.
