City Government

The City of Franklin is the county seat of Franklin County. The County's population as of 2006 is 3,348.

The City of Franklin is a City of the Second Class in the State of Nebraska incorporated on July 30, 1883. The City of Franklin has a mayor-council form of government with all city officials elected to four year terms of office. The City's population as of 2006 is 959.

Meetings

The City of Franklin has a mayor-council form of government with all city officials elected to a four year term of office. City Council meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month at City Hall located at 619 15th Ave., Franklin, NE 68939. The public is welcome to attend.
